Welcome to Historic Waco Foundation
Historic Waco Foundation is a non-profit organization 501 (c)(3). The mission of Historic Waco Foundation is to collect, maintain, preserve, publish and interpret the heritage and history of Waco, McLennan County and Texas. HWF owns and operates four historic house museums: Earle-Napier-Kinnard House, Fort House, East Terrace, and the McCulloch House. These house museums date from 1858 to 1884. The Foundation offices are located in the Hoffman House.
In addition to the historic house museums, Historic Waco Foundation also produces the following:
- Quarterly journal, “Waco Heritage & History”
- Christmas on the Brazos
- Special exhibits such as the Civil War exhibit
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Earle-Napier-Kinnard House Museum is closed for repairs until further notice. The other three house museums are still open for tours.
Summer Camp “Build A Better Waco!” will be June 18 – 22. Registration is open for any 8 – 11 year old that wants to be part of this exciting camp. Call the HWF Office, or visit our Youth Events page to download the form.

Historic Homes
Historic Home Museums are open to the public the following hours:
Saturdays & Sundays, 2 pm to 5 pm
Additional Tour Hours Tuesdays-Fridays, 11 am – 3 pm during the following months:
January – March at McCulloch House Museum
April – June at Fort House Museum
July – September at East Terrace House Museum
October – December at Earle-Napier-Kinnard House Museum
Tours may also be scheduled by special appointment. Please call the HWF Office for details.

Seniors (50+): $2.50
Students (any age):$2
Children under 6: Free Admission
Military (with ID, includes immediate family): Free Admission
