Historic Waco Foundation is proud to present Uniting the Home Front: Waco in World War I in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the American entry into World War I. The Great War required a massive mobilization of troops, thus necessitating sacrifices and unity on the home front in support of the troops. This exhibit explores the role that Waco and McLennan County played in the war effort as well as other events occurring in Waco.
