Historic Waco Foundation continues to preserve and protect Waco's cultural and architectural heritage. Our mission is to collect, maintain, preserve, publish, and interpret the heritage and history of Waco, McLennan County, and Texas. At each of the Historic House Museums, a trained docent will fascinate you with the history of the house and its occupants as well as with rich anecdotal material. These Historic Houses are filled with treasured family heirlooms and other furnishings from the Victorian era.
